Homemade Dukkah

An Egyptian spice and nut mix, pistachio dukkah adds flavour, texture and goodness to so many dishes.  Simple to make and easy to store. A great homemade seasoning to have ready on the go.

- Pistachio - Almonds - Sesame seeds - Coriander seeds - Cumin powder - Salt and pepper

Simple Ingredients:

STEP 1 - Preheat the oven to 200 °C / 400 °F


STEP 2 -  Roast the nuts and seeds in a small baking dish for 8 minutes and allow to cool.

STEP 3 -  Once cooled, crush the nuts and seeds in a mini blender or mortar and pestle. Add salt and pepper to taste.

STEP 4 - Store dukkah in an airtight container in a dark, dry place for up to a month.

Delicious baked with fish, chicken and served over roasted vegetable and fresh salads.
