Homemade Fish and Chips

- Blue cod fillet - Lemon

Beer Batter - Pale ale - Flour - Turmeric - Salt

Rustic Chips - Potatoes - Canola oil - Paprika & Rosemary - Cumin - Salt and pepper.

Tartare Sauce - Mayonnaise - Gherkin - Caders - Lemon - Parsley - Worcestershire sauce


STEP 1 - Combine beer, flour, turmeric, and salt in a bowl. Whisk until smooth. Chill in the fridge until ready to use.

STEP 2 - Toss cut potatoes with oil, salt, and pepper.

STEP 3 - Roast in a hot cast iron skillet until crispy and cooked through.

STEP 4 - Combine mayonnaise and other ingredients for tartare sauce, chill.

STEP 5 - Flour fish, batter, and fry 2-3 minutes until golden.

Serve with your rustic chips, tartare sauce and lemon cheeks.
