A beginner's guide to delicious homemade flatbread.

Master the art of homemade roti with our step-by-step guide.  Enjoy soft, warm flatbreads straight from your kitchen.

- Oil - Flour - Salt - Water

Ingredients:

STEP 1 - Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Knead for 10-15 minutes until smooth.

STEP 2 -  Rest the dough for 20 minutes. Divide into balls and roll each ball out into a thin circle.

STEP 3 -  Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook each roti for 30-60 seconds per side, or until cooked through.

STEP 4 - Puff up the roti by cooking it on the third side for 10-20 seconds.

STEP 5 - Wrap the roti in a tea towel and repeat the process to cook all of the rotis.

Don't worry about perfect, this takes practice, just aim to make them as thin as you can.  This will help them puff up when cooking.

Serve along side your favourite curry, for mopping up that delicious gravy!
