Slow Cooked Beef

– Beef cheeks – Salt – Pepper – Canola oil – Shallots – Garlic – Capers – Anchovies – Red wine – Rosemary – Beef stock

Ingredients:

STEP 1 : Preheat oven to 140°C/284°F. Trim beef cheeks of any sinewy or silver skin.

STEP 2: Heat cast iron pan on medium heat, add canola oil. Season beef cheeks with salt and pepper, sear skin side down for 5 minutes per side. Remove from pan and set aside.

After cooking the shallots and garlic, add the remaining ingredients and simmer until the beef cheeks are tender.

Cook beef cheeks covered in the oven for 4 hours until tender.
